Fairfield Street entrance, stands, Network Rail there are 5 cycle stands 27/03/12 at 1600 hrs 12 bikes parked 04/05/12 at 1130 hrs 10 bikes parked. More parking is required at Piccadilly Station and better signs to locations.
parking at the Station Approach entrance but it is hidden away and poorly signposted, with the consequence that there is 'double parking' on the stands and lots of bikes locked to railings. The situation at the Fairfield Street entrance is different - too few proper stands, hence lots of bikes locked to railings.
information to be passed to ATOC's integrated transport manager who attends the Northern Rail bike forum, and who expressed some sympathy with the campaign to improve the situation at Piccadilly.
