[Image taken on 5.5.22] Burton Stone Lane looking towards the A19 (Bootham-Clifton), York. Another set of damaged and ineffectual speed cushions. The ‘black’/blank sign is a vehicle activated speed (VAS) indicator (see: #182425). It is also ineffectual at alerting or nudging drivers to reduce their speed to 20mph or less here in my experience as someone who uses this street most days. Context and links: #182419.
