[Image taken on 5.5.22] Parliament Street, St Sampson's Square, York. Public table tennis tables put out by Make It York (www.makeityork.com/), kept clean by YorkBid (www.theyorkbid.com/), used by... anyone who has bats and balls with them. At present, it's bring your own kit. I hope the two tables will be used by families and friends in the evenings. They bring life (and possibly comedy) to the town centre after the shops have shut and the motor vehicles (deliveries) have moved in. They could be an antidote to the unpleasant atmosphere that drunken groups bring at the weekends. Other images here today: #182414, #182415.
